Clown Lab
Next class: TBA
Through exploring original games and exercises, this experimental class looks at building on the essentials of Gaulier clowning to continue an organic exploration of one’s ‘clown’.
Special Guest classes
Using our extensive network of performers and teachers in the field of physical performance, we regularly bring in special guest teachers for one-off classes. Previous special guest teachers include Mick Barnfather (lead clown teacher at Ecole Philippe Gaulier) and John Wright, author of Why is That So Funny? and co-founder of Told by an Idiot.
Pricing
At Brighton Clown School, we are on a mission to make physical comedy and theatre training as accessible as possible. Class prices vary, depending on the class and teacher, but are the most affordable out there.

Our workshops take place at Hanover Community Centre.
Classes have been previously held at venues across central Brighton, including The Loft at Little Dippers, The Net Loft at Brighton Fishing Museum, and The Studio, Whippingham Road.
